>>Game Of Thrones. Season 3, Episode 9 Review: The Rains Of Castamere

It is Memorial Day weekend, unfortunately, there will be no Game of Thrones episode this week. After last year’s holiday weekend episode scored season low ratings by a significant margin, the producers and HBO decided it would be best to delay the show for a week. This means that the highly anticipated penultimate episode, “The Rains of Castamere”,  will not air until June 2.

From the episode synopsis:

Robb presents himself to Walder Frey, and Edmure meets his bride. Jon faces his harshest test yet. Bran discovers a new gift. Daario and Jorah debate how to take Yunkai. House Frey joins with House Tully.

Since you can’t catch the episode tonight, here is a little taste of next Sunday’s episode:

In the mean time, it is a holiday weekend, so what could you do to enjoy your time if you want options other than eating fantastic food on the grill and spending time with your family?

If you are looking to get your television fix, you could always jump to Netflix and check out the new episodes of “Arrested Development”, which returned for the first time since 2006 at midnight today.

Comedies are always enjoyable, but if you’d like something more serious, AMC wasn’t scared off by the holiday and they will be airing their newest episode of Mad Men season 3 tonight.

And for those who simply want to relax and watch some sports, there is the Indy 500.

There are plenty of options today if you are looking to occupy your time, but nothing will fill the void left by Game of Thrones. Thankfully, we can begin the countdown to next week’s episode which is expected to blow the minds of the television viewers. Prepare yourselves, folks. This is going to be a good one.
